How do I apply for a position?
Stanley’s employment application process is electronic; we regret that we cannot accept resumés via e-mail or by any other means. To apply for a position, please visit the Openings page. From there, you can search for jobs based on the position title, position number, keywords, or location. After you find a position that interests you, follow the directions on the page to apply.

What happens after I submit my resumé?
Once you have submitted your resumé online, you will receive an acknowledgement that your resumé was successfully submitted. Your qualifications will then be compared to the requirements associated with the position. If your resumé reflects that you possess the required knowledge, skills, and abilities associated with that position, you will be contacted by a member of Stanley’s hiring team. Additionally, your resumé will be added to our database so that we can consider you for future openings.

When will I be contacted about my resumé?
Applicants who appear to meet or exceed the requirements associated with a specific position will be contacted by a member of Stanley’s hiring team. Due to the high volume of resumés we receive every day, we are unable to respond to inquiries about the status of a resumé submission. In the event that your resumé does not match the position you have applied for, it will be maintained in our database so that we can contact you when a suitable position is identified.

Does Stanley participate in recruiting events?
Stanley participates in several job fairs throughout the year, both in the Washington, DC metro area and across the nation. In addition to job fairs, the company holds special “By Invitation” recruiting events at some of its U.S. locations.

Who do I contact if I am having difficulty submitting my resumé?
If you are experiencing technical difficulty submitting your resumé, please send an e-mail to our Applicant Management vendor’s technical support team at helpdesk@icims.com or contact them by phone at (800) 889-4422, option 2.

When would I be eligible to receive benefits if I accept a position with Stanley and become an employee?
Stanley employees who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for our benefit programs. Eligibility for most benefits begins on the very first day of work. For more information about benefits, please visit our Employee Benefits page.

What type of ongoing training opportunities does Stanley provide to its employees?
Ongoing training opportunities that Stanley offers in-house include Supervisor Training and Project Manager Training. Stanley also offers a wide variety of external training courses that range from technical training and certifications to sexual harassment and compliance training.
