Stanley uses SEI CMM level 3 processes to ensure
the quality of software development efforts. This methodology
was recently used to help the U.S. Army develop an IT system for
managing its pre-positioned stock program. This system is called
the Army War Reserve Deployment System/Automated Battlebook System
(AWRDS/ABS) and was developed by integrating proven and repeatable
systems test and design review processes – a methodology
we can and have been independently assessed as an SEI CMM Level
3 organization.
Stanley has also undertaken the company-wide
implementation of a Quality Management System (QMS) that addresses
every aspect of providing the highest quality products and services.
Our QMS includes documented and repeatable processes and procedures
for project and contract management; purchasing; new hire selection,
screening, and processing; security; and other activities that
relate to how Stanley ‘does business.’ The implementation
of our QMS will result in Stanley attaining certification under
the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2000
International Standards for Quality Assurance.”
