GSA Document Solutions Labor Category Descriptions:

Functional Expert I
Minimum/General Experience:
Ten (10) years of experience in any and all aspects of document solutions to include needs assessment, records management and document conversion. A Functional Expert shall also have demonstrated capability in the overall management of multi-task contracts of this type and/or complexity as required.
Functional Responsibility: Senior technical or functional professional. Provides expert consultation and direction for document solutions efforts.
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience required, Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum/General Experience:

Seven (7) years of experience in complete document solutions project development from inception to completion with a demonstrated ability to provide guidance and direction in tasks of a technical nature.

Functional Responsibility: Under close supervision, works to determine User requirements for integration into the application development process.
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience required.


Librarian I
Minimum/General Experience:
Five (5) years of experience in library automation, cataloging and document/records management.
Functional Responsibility: Provides records management service to include but not limited to the movement, manipulation, archiving, security of, management of records. Assists in determining the appropriate equipment and/or facilities necessary to meet records management objectives.
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience required, Master’s degree preferred.


Librarian II
Minimum/General Experience:
Three (3) years of experience in library automation, cataloging and document/records management.

Typical duties include analysis, planning, establishment of contract compliance and accounting requirements, development of procedures and other related management and technical duties.
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience required.


Project Administrator II
Minimum/General Experience:
Two (2) years of experience in filing techniques, administrative typing, and using word processing equipment. May provide limited computer graphics support.
